Roll Tite Flatbeds
We make a point of having the right players on our team and the right equipment on the road, including Roll Tite flatbeds. Ideally suited for industrial products, a single ITS driver can operate the retractable tarp system from the ground level and customers’ goods can be loaded or unloaded from the top or sides. Having complete access significantly reduces unloading time and the risk of driver injury.
Heaters and Reefers
We primarily operate a dry van fleet throughout our Canada and USA service area. Because of our specialization in transporting food products we have a fleet of heated vans to protect goods from freezing in the cold weather months. Refrigerated trailers are also available to keep your goods at ambient, cool or frozen temperatures.
Long Combination Vehicles (LCVs)
When carriers were selected for the special permits required to run LCVs, ITS was chosen to participate. With two 53’ trailers connected by a convertor dolly, one driver can haul two loads simultaneously. We operate on the 401 corridor between Ontario and Quebec. This unique configuration serves to conserve fuel and driver resources while adding capacity for our customers.
Dangerous goods transport
ITS is a Hazmat certified carrier and has team members trained in the handling of dangerous goods at each of our six Ontario locations. Paints, thinners, chemicals, cleaners and car batteries are just a few of the products we ship within our service area. Of course, these industrial products are always shipped separately from other product types.
Shunting service throughout Ontario
Associated with our dedicated offerings, is our ability to offer clients a third-party alternative for their equipment and personnel allocated to moving trailers in their yard. Our customers are very pleased to divest this part of their operation to ITS. It’s our business, after all, and we provide the quality and service performance our clients expect, adding efficiency and overall cost savings.
